Mindset Is So Important
Life has a lot to offer. It's vitally important that you believe that YOU, not him, not her, not your cousin, but YOU - really can "have it all". The reason is simple, when we truly believe in something, we act on it. On the right, are a series of pictures in what many would say represents "the good life". There are sunsets, expensive cars, water sports, etc. Look at each of the pictures. Do you see yourself being able to enjoy those things? Be honest. A lot of people can't see themselves in that position - the reason- their mindset. The good thing about mindsets - you can change them, anytime you want. You want to be able to think rich. This is an important step. Money doesn't make you rich, money is a tool, and a tool is only as good as the hands that use it.
There's no doubt that anyone can have those things on the right. The key is not only having it, but being able to keep it and pass it along. We sometimes see it with lottery winners. A winner will come into a lot of money fast, and almost as fast - they lose it all.
There's an old saying if you fail to plan, plan to fail. This is true with the tool of money.
I remember in college one of my professors asked the class a question. I learned a valuable lesson that day.
I'll ask you the same question the professor posed to the class. The question was, if you won the lottery, what would be the very first thing you would buy?
This was a room full of 18 and 19 year old's. He went around the room asking each of us, what our purchase would be. There were a lot of houses, cars, boats, one person said an island. I said a house. After we all were through making our selections, the professor looked at the class and said "All of you are wrong." The very first thing you should purchase is a good lawyer, followed by a financial advisor. I never even thought of that. But I always do now. Every time I see a power ball or mega millions winner now, I take note on how long it takes them to come forward. Generally speaking, the longer it takes, the more success they will probably have - managing their new found wealth. When they take months to come forward, they are usually putting together a wealth management team. They'll usually have the winnings collected by a trust, so they - the actual winner - can stay anonymous. On the flip side, when I see people coming out to collect their winnings, and its their real first and last name, and its only been three days since the drawing - not good.
Rich comes way before money, in the form of your mindset. Realize that money is a tool. Train your mind to be able to wield that tool.

So, if you ever win the lottery, take the advice of my professor. If you're like most of us who won't win the lottery, train your mind. When the money comes, you want the tools to be in a position to keep it.
Do you believe that YOU can have it ALL?
